RMR06 elevation not clicking

Just got a used rm06 and sent it to primary machine to mill and mount on my cz p09. Got it back and was playing with the adjustments to get a rough zero and the elevation does not click or seem to move the dot. Windage clicks and moves dot left to right. I used a chamber laser to try and get it to bore sight and couldn't get the dot to move down. Do you think running some rounds through it will knock it back loose? It has been super cold here and tomorrow is supposed to be nice so planning a trip to the range to break in the cerakoted slide anyways and test the backup sights.

I recently purchased an X5 second hand that came with a an RM06. It had a similar problem but the windage adjustment was messed up and wasn't moving the dot. First thing I did was check for its authenticity and there are some good videos out there that help you with that. Afterwards, I decided to shoot Trijicon an email and last week, I sent the optic out to be repaired. It was authentic and they are working it right now free of charge as it was covered under the warranty. I recommend you do the same with yours so as not to void the warranty or anything. I only paid for shipping (which requires that you get insurance and tracking info for) and I am waiting for it to come back.

I hope this helps.

I actually bought the one that needed repair second hand. Not sure if the guy that sold it to me knew the elevation went bad or not and I didn't check it till after I sent it off to primary machine to mount on my p09. Tried to zero when it came back and elevation didn't click or move the dot. Told them in the rma request that I bought it second hand and didn't seem to matter.
