Sti Slide For 9mm Major

Which STI slide is used for building a 9MM major open gun. Is there a true STI 9MM breechface or is it the 38 Super slide.

one 9mm/38 breechface, get the 9mm Aftec.

sti makes a 9mm breechface slide, that's the one you want to use.

The 38 works great for a 9mm & can be used if you decide to change to 38. two for the price of one.

we used the 38 super slide for 9mm,super or supercomp because STI did not offer the slide with a 9mm breechface. now that they do offer a 9mm breechface slide we use it for 9mm or supercomp and use the 38 super slide for 38 super. the 38 super slide will work fine with 9mm if that is what you want.

just recently. i just received some from shooters connection for our upcoming orders. they have a "9" stamped on the bottom inside of the slide between the breechface and the disconnector slot.
