12" Barrel Extension/Shroud

I recently purchased a 4" Faxon 9mm barrel that I would like to use to build a new 16" lightweight upper (I am not interested in building an SBR). I have found barrel extensions of 6" to 8" but, in order to make a legally-pinned/welded 16" barrel, I will need a 12.1" extension or shroud with a 1/2-28 pattern.  It would also like it to be as light as possible (aluminum, titanium, etc) because I plan to use a carbon fiber handguard over it.

 

Is there any company making a 12.1" barrel extension or is this something that I am going to have to resort to a custom built part?

That is where I saw it first and, had I not already come across that Faxon barrel, I would purchase the Taccom ULW ramped barrel in a heartbeat. I just happen to find this 4" barrel at an insanely low price.

They make an extension for use on other barrels as well. Added a link above
