WCRHC September 24th Match

Online Registration and squadding is open at 8am 09-19-2017 for the September 24th WCRHC Match. Please Register at the provided link then squad. When you squad, select the squad, then say yes to the pop up window, THEN click the "select Squad" button at the bottom of the page (Many people are forgetting to hit this last button). The match is 9 field courses with a classifier. Payment/ Registration verification window will open by 8:30am and close promptly at 9:30am. Shooters meeting at ~9:45am and we should be shooting at 10:00am. Any issues please contact me at

Planning Committee met and decided that 10 stages will be available for this month. We (IPSC 66) need so many classifiers for the year per USPSA guidelines so we have to run 1 this month and next month. Instead of taking away a fun filled field course (say that 10 times quickly...), we decided to shoot a shorter course in one of the bays and add the additional stage to that bay as a separate stage. So 10 stages and 246 rounds if you don't miss is the plan.  Lots of movement, lots of tight shots, with the new bays be prepared for some long shots and put your track shoes on as you will have to move to finish a stage or two. In other words, a typical match from the crew at our club.

 

The match sold out on practicscore very quickly as usual. If you didn't get it, please sign up on the wait list. Sometimes events happen in life and folks can't make it to the match so slots open up. Please remember that parking is tight with 100 competitors, so parking in the grass field to the right of the road before you come into our main parking lot is encouraged. Please do not try to finish up your registration at the range building till 8:31am......give the staff time to get things organized and ready for all the competitors.

 

In October we are going to try our first 2 gun match (pistol, rifle) on the 5th weekend. We are only taking 60 competitors as we are running 6 stages of 2 gun. Same pricing as our handgun match  ($20 for members and $25 for non members). I am going to assume that this will fill up quickly as we have many members who have expressed a desire to shoot this match. If things go well, we will continue this next year so cross your fingers for us. 

 

As always, we thank all the competitors that make the effort to join us each month. We know many of you drive a long way to come out and shoot. We will continue to try and make it worth it for you. We look forward to seeing you out on the range!!!
