I picked up one and the hole in the slide for the set screw is further back than the hole in the plate, the set screw started to thread but then stripped out due to being off. I do not have this issue with the caspian bar sight that has been on the slide. Any advice beyond me needing another set screw? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zzt Posted September 3, 2017 Share Posted September 3, 2017 The mount is Aluminum, so it is likely you stripped the threads in the mount, not on the screw. You may have to drill and tap the mount for the next larger thread size. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
