Sounds like very delicate work Shred. I too like to disassemble electronic gadgets, but I usually have parts left over or something just doesn't work right afterwards.

I've done it enough times to have learned my lesson, and I absolutely wont do it with a C-More. Certainly not my own ..... can I borrow yours ?

That's why I only try and take apart broken things "How much worse could it get??" (sadly sometimes the answer is 'much', especially when you let lots of magic smoke out). Were it not for the custom part, non-clicker C-more repair would be well within the reach of somebody with even C-class soldering iron skillz.
