Spiff
What kind of battery life is everyone getting? Thanks.
MasterLefty
It's hard to say. I've never had a set of batteries die from use, I always forget to turn them off at one time or another. Kenny
Loves2Shoot
Depends how often I forget to turn them off. They last a long time if I turn them off. I double plug so unless I'm shooting or RO'ing an open shooter, I leave them off.
Stumpnav
Thats an easy question. They last one range session or match. Always forget to turn one side off. I keep a whole pack of batteries for just such an occasion. Truthfully, they last a long time if you keep them turned off in your bag. I wish they had an automatic shutoff after say, four hours. If you shot over four hours and they went off, it would be easy to reach up and reset them.

LPatterson
I think I had better run out and get the Peltor's because I keep forgetting to turn off my Dillon's. Or maybe tie a string to a sensitive part of the anatomy and the muffs as a reminder?
Spiff
Pretty much sounds like everyone is getting better mileage from their batteries than I am with the ones in my Silencio muffs. What I get is a buzzing noise in the left ear after about 3 hours of use. Replacing the batteries seems to fix it so I figured it was the mics way if telling me they were not getting enough juice. I know the Silencio's are not the most expensive electronic ear protection out there but they seem to work fine ('cept for the buzzing in my left ear after awhile). Though I really have no comparisons to base that judgment on. Thanks all.
Precision40
I have the ProEars and if you leave them on overnight, they will be dead in the morning. Normally I get about 12 hours out of a set. Whichever you choose though, keep a set (or two) of spare batts.
Newguy
After every match I put a X of tape on the on/off switch. Unless I do that they seem to find a way of turning themselves on in my range bag.
