hcore44
I order a 1000 bullet box of RMR 90gr JHPs to play with in an open glock. Right now, I am shooting 125gr bayou coated over 6.9 wac for major. Would I be safe to start the 90gr with the same amount of powder? My goal is to give them enough gas for the comp without worrying about making major, just needing to cycle the gun. Thoughts?
dave33
I have run that exact Bullet out of my comp'ed CZ P09 from 6.7 gr up to 7.2 gr with no problems or pressure signs so I can't imagine that being a problem. It's actually pretty accurate and has virtually no recoil.
bret
can't use them in USPSA or IPSC, they are too light.

kneelingatlas
Same charge, lighter bullet is a good combo I've shot 10gr of 3n38 under a 100gr pill
hcore44
Thanks for the feedback so far. My goal for this load is for it to be a "practice" load until I get better at finding the dot on my draw etc. Im still very new to open shooting. I know the weight is too light for major as I have my 125gr load for that. I also have other powders available on hand if there is a better choice for the light bullet. bret
the dot will move more if you don't have enough gas to work the comp.
