You want oil change stories. I get my oil changed every 2 months. That usually means anything from 5 to 12 k miles. It takes 14 qts of oil and I can't afford to change it every month.

Huston in Austin, and every other place in Texas that has a road to it.

I'm just over 60k with my '02 F250 Supercab and still on the originals.

My F250 Supercab diesel is still on the original pads 120,000. My wife's car needs pads every 30k, no matter what. I think that a lot of it has to do with the driver.

I was just at Auto Zone and a man was returning his 3rd set of lifetime warranty brake pads. If you can do you own brakes then consider buying them there. Change the pads before the rotor gets disprted and you might be able to skip having them turned everytime. That's what I used to do when I was a money strapped teenager and it worked out fine.
