Butters
At a 3 gun match I had a Springfield 5.25 pistol in the holster that comes with the kit, you know, the cheap one that covers 1" of the pistol. The stage started off with a long gun and as I was moving along the course I came to a shooting box and set my legs in a wide stance. As my right thigh was moving outwards it made contact with the bottom of the barrel and pushed the pistol out of the holster, onto the ground. uewpew
That is a major bummer, dude. The 3gun gurus in my area convinced me to get a level 2 holster, which i did, and am very happy with that decision.
Hi-Power Jack
Aren't you glad you found out that defect BEFORE any real serious problem?

Txpastorbob
I am not a high end shooter but all of my competition holsters are kydex that fully encloses the barrel and has decent tension. I don't use the race holsters or others because I fear the gun being knocked out. I know I may loose a bit of time but I am good with that
