galt11
I am in the process of cleaning out my shooting stuff and found a bunch of this ammo and have no idea what it is and where it came from. I am hoping someone here might have an idea. It's headstamp is "S&W-F and 357mag" The bullet end had a red paint? on the end. Hi-Power Jack
Looks like an old (1950's) wax bullet load. I wouldn't have remembered that, but YES, it sure does ... Just a primer and dip the case into molten wax - use it for the Very Quick Draw that was very popular for a while, before USPSA.
