ClangClang
Looking to swap out the dim (kinda crappy) sights on my P-01 which is my carry pistol. Not used for competition. Anyone have any recommendations or things they've installed and liked/didn't like? Right now, I'm aware of the TruGlo TFX Pro sights and the Meprolight TruDot. I've seen some reports that the TFX are designed for the full size 75B though, and cause you to shoot low on a P-01. All input welcome. Thanks! extremist
I put standard CZ75 Meprolights on my P01, they work great. Other than the PIA it was to cut the channel for the front sight pin, installation was straightforward and it shoots perfectly to POA.
xdr
I recently put the TRuglo TFX on my P-01 and they did require a minor sight hold adjustment for me, basically putting the front dot directly on the bullseye. A 6 o'clock hold will have POI ~3 inches low at 10 yards. I love the sights though...easy to acquire and bright. Right now, I'm aware of the TruGlo TFX Pro sights and the Meprolight TruDot. ClangClang
OK thanks, so that confirms my original research. I really like the TruGlo though. Time to check out gunsmithing options to fix the problem. Edited July 27, 2016 by ClangClang
mtwashingtonhunter
https://www.truglo.com/firearms-handgun/brite-site-tfx-handgun-sights.asp?catid=E5FDB84FE8F74C239330C1841BDD3D5E I've had these on mine since winter and love them. Mine shoots right where I aim.
sonja55
If you buy the set from Dawson Precision they will give you a new front sight if it does not shoot to point of aim. If they do not stock the height you need they will make you one.
