Boxer1
I ran one on a Limited gun that had a light under 2lb trigger and short reset and it would cause the gun to bump fire every now and then. Not sure if it was shooter error but I could almost make it do it on demand. I took it off and went back to no rest. Now Slide Racker is another story I love mine for table starts. Corey
I have a PT slide stop thumb rest on my Lim gun and love it! Gives me a good index/grip reference and I do feel I shoot better with it. Call it a crutch if you want, but I shoot better scores and finish higher, which is the goal when I show up to a match.

coltlover
Shooting Sports Innovations Nitro Fin. Have several of them on both limited and open 2011s. They seem to fit my hands much better than frame or scope mount thumb rests. I really like them! http://shootingsportsinnovations.com/
1911A12011
I like a pedal on an open gun. I use the LimCat Red Dot mount with LimCat Thumb Rest. I can consistently index my support hand in the gun and helps me track the red dot. I can also manage the recoil.
