Daft
Keepers help a lot. You can buy them off the shelf at the popo shop, but they do not fit a speed belt, too big.
Fatso
I'm a huge fan of the Safariland ELS belt, even if one did not plan to run the ELS/QLS plates/mounts. Since I've transitioned to this belt, I've had zero problems with belt separation / loosening.
MemphisMechanic
As a random aside, toss the Arrendondo rigid plastic keeper for two piece shooting belts into your cart next time you're buying from a place that carries it. Well worth the $5-7. Should have done that a lot sooner. Side it over to the side, put your belt on, and center it. Done.
