LeviSS
I won't be able to get any more data for a few days because it's supposed to be raining, but here's the data from the 3 strings I shot yesterday. Win brass: 12 shot string, Av-874fps(128.5pf), ES- 20, SD-6 Win brass: 8 shot string, Av-875fps(128.6pf), ES-19, SD-6 Mixed brass: 10 shot string, Av-875, ES-35, SD-
mjohn
I think your results are very consistent. Could you please share all vital information such as gun and barrel info. Also, would you tell us your recipe to include: bullet type, weight and brand, OAL, powder brand and weight. I have never been able to acheive such a low ES & SD. Good job. GrumpyOne
Titegroup is notoriously temp sensitive...while you may be getting 128 at 80 degrees, you will definitely go sub minor below 60 degrees.
LeviSS
I got to go shoot a few more strings over the chrono. I bumped it up to 3.0gr of Titegroup. Mixed brass. 10 shots. 1st string - AV-894 (131.4pf), ES-20, SD-7 2ñd - AV-891 (131pf), ES-30, SD-8 3rd - AV-893 (131.3pf), ES-31, SD-
jwhittin
Your data looks good. The resulting PF doesn't matter. You just need to know your avg velocity and SD. Your worst case SD is about 10 so as long as you keep your AV in the 870 to 880 fps range you are set for this load. If you get better accuracy/reliability or just like the feel, go with 890. Final step would be to check AV and SD at hot and cold temp and adjust to ensure both are at least 2SD.

LeviSS Thanks for sharing. I was hoping that we might have been using some of the same components. I am using Zero's 147 FMJ and N320. It works fine. However, I would like to be able to obtain single digit OAL and to cut the ES by 33%.
