paul788
Has anyone tried this? When I bought a P14 a buddy gave me a P14 mag that he had been using in his P16 to load the barney round. CDNN has P14 mags for $29. If you have not tried it yourself please don't post telling me what you think. I want to hear from someone or someones who have done it and can say firsthand that it works or that it doesn't. Inquiring minds want to know. ChuckS
There is a guy in this thread said he could not get it to work: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=182510&p=2013962
Retread1911
Evening Paul. I was very hopeful, as I am sure you are now, to see if I could convert P14 mags to run in a P16. I found 2 issues when I started down the road. 1) feed lips are just a bit wide. No problem I took some material out and welded it back up. 2) The width on the 45 mag is too wide. This is the one that took my attempts out. If you can squeeze the feed lips and get a spacer to work you just might be able to make it happen. Other than that I would say simply use it as a barny mag and move on. George
ParaGunner
I've used one with success,it was a salt shaker though. Worked fine, just gave the mag to a friend.
