motosapiens
wondering what other folks are doing with aluminum msh's. I have one on my 9mm ss gun to make weight, and it started squeaking a bit, so I very lightly greased the plunger. that cured the squeak and resistance, but I dryfire every day, and after several weeks it's starting to come back. Anyone else had an issue? i'm thinking just use a little more grease this time.
MustangGreg66
I make sure even my steel and plastic MSH are lubed. It's a metal plunger sliding up and down every time the gun fires, it needs to be lubed. Use some grease, make sure there aren't any large gauges in the plunger or MSH as well. seadog_99
I'm running a titanium cap in an aluminum msh. Waited too long to clean and lube once and the galling/binding caused issues. Polished it up and clean it more often for best results.
