rustybayonet
I collect Military firearms, mostly WWII. Many parts of military weapons need grease along with oil to stay functional. I was wondering if anyone knows how long slide glide would keep on a stored weapon? Will it keep its consistensy for long term storage or will it dry out? should I keep with a petroleum based grease for long term storage? With Motor oil and axel grease, I have had no problems pulling them out of the safe and shooting.
armydad
I've only been using slide glide for about 6 months, but I don't use if for long-term storage. I would think it would be fine though Brian probably knows best. For long-term storage, I've always used Cosmoline.
