mongo404
Bullets sized to .356 using Mr Bullet feeder and cases are flared more than enough, anybody else getting a little bit of peeling of coating and lead after seating? if so have you discovered a solution. I don't notice any peeling after the bullet feeder sets the bullet. just after seating it
texasref
Sometimes the case is not centered and you'll get some shaving. Also check to make sure you really do have the mouth flared enough.
RickT
I've loaded 30K+ 147gr coated without any peeling using a universal expander in my Hornady powder die. I would say not enough expansion. I am switching to a Mr. BulletFeeder and his expander - we'll see how that goes. TDA
Since you didn't mention what brand die you are using, I tried a Lee die once...(38 Spec) Every bullet got shaved down to bare lead regardless of the amount of belling. Switched the seating die to a 9mm Dillon and never shaved another bullet. Turns out that the Lee was removing all of the bell when the case entered the seating die, which is why it didn't make any difference how much or little the case was belled. The Lee die set came with a XL650 I bought used, but fortunately, all of the other die sets were Dillon.
