kneelingatlas Posted September 20, 2015 Share Posted September 20, 2015 I've seen both Stock IIs and IIIs in both frame sizes although the majority of Stock II 9mms are large frame and the first Stock III 9mms I came across were all small frame, but they seem to be coming in mostly large frame now too. kneelingatlas Posted September 20, 2015 Share Posted September 20, 2015 Large/small frame Tanfo are almost identical in outside dimensions: The only difference in size between the CZ and Tanfo is the checkering, on the CZs it's cut into the grip whereas on the Tanfo it stands out ~1/16" front and back so it fills your hand a little more. All current stock II and IIIs imported are large frame, although small frames are still made for the European market. IIRC, the number of small frame stock iis and IIIs in the US number less than 100 or so?? As far as the grip size, you can get the Eric grauffel grips and it's just as slender as the shadow, works well for my small hands. Justinmac13 Posted September 20, 2015 Author Share Posted September 20, 2015 I went from a glock to a Cz shadow and have been amazed at the difference. I love the shadow, but if I had never tried it I wouldn't have known. I don't expect to see a lot of difference but if I don't try a tanfo I will not know what I may be missing out on.
