Dink
My CZ Shadow began going to double action while multiple shots are fired. About 1 out of 3 shots will go to double action, the rest go to single action like they should. Anyone know what might cause this?

Ludde
The following is one possible cause. Hammer and/or sear contact surfaces have worn enough for the hammer to slip from fully cocked to the safety notch position. This can happen if the trigger stop screw is set to tight, causing the sear to rotate too little in relation to hammer travel. With the trigger pulled all the way back try to move the hammer in and out to feel for even the slightest rubbing against the sear edge.
Dink
Took it apart and checked all springs. Nothing broken. You are probably right Ludde, probably wear problem. Shooting the Illinois Sectional tomorrow with a borrowed gun. Will try to catch Matt M there for help.
