turbopower18
I have a Heinie ultra low mount rear slant pro sight 360 i want to put on my Springfield TRP. Thought some of you 1911 gurus might recommend a proper height for the front sight to not change my POA/POI as its dead on right now. Any help is greatly appreciated!! ltdmstr
I use .185" front with Slant Pro Qwik rear for most 1911s. But that may not be correct on your setup. If you want to do it right, check these instructions on Dawson's web site.
rocice
Print out a few sight-in targets http://www.targets.ws/sight-in-targets.htm Install the Heinie sight Off a rest @ 25 yards see where you’re POA/POI are then use a sight height calculator http://www.brownells.com/GunTech/Sight_Height_Calculator/detail.htm?lid=13186
