Southpaw
Digital scales are fine for pistol. They have to be covered to be stable. I have using the Gemini 20 for some time now. I make my own check weights (4 grains) at work using the lab vacuum digital, which reads to .00001 grams (costs $15K) http://www.amazon.com/American-Weigh-GEMINI-20-Portable-MilliGram/dp/B0012TDNAM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435868330&sr=8-1&keywords=gemini+20+scale Thanks for the recommendation. Is that scale really accurate to 0.02 grains? Pretty much every other scale I've seen only goes to 0.1 grains.
9x45
Weighs up to 20 grams in 0.001 gram increments, so its good for about .015 grains. The only drawback is that the pan is very small, and would not be good for even .223Rem rifle. I have a much older Midway Quick Draw (Ohaus) that I use for rifle. The newer digitals are so much better than just 5 years ago.
Southpaw
Thanks. I returned the Frankford Arsenal and got one of those scales.
