philrcptx Posted May 21, 2015 Share Posted May 21, 2015 As a reference, I worked up the following load for BB 147gr RN: COAL: 1.125 Powder: 4.1 gr CFE Pistol Primer: CCI #500 SPP Brass: WCC once-fired Chrono Results Hi Vel: 953 Low Vel: 929 Ave Vel: 942 Ext Spread: 24 Std Dev: 7 I worked up from 3.7 grains, maxed at 4.2 with no observable pressure issues. I run a 1.160 4.2 wsf making a 135pf out on my 929 and it makes a 130pf out of my dash 4 super gun. Max crimp on the Lee factory crimp die.
