Suff
I called Benelli customer support last year about the compact stock. They indicated the pads from the standard stock would not fit.
ffgats
Got an email from Benelli, you're right the std.gel pad is not compatible with the compact. A video at YTube 2013 Shptshow showing a Benelli rep Coogan mentioned that the pads can be reconfigured to a slimmer or thickier model . Misinformation I guess
GunCat
You could go with the standard factory compact (thin) pad and have your gunsmith install a thicker grind to fit pad so you could swap pads as needed. Brownells sell an adapter plate for installing a standard pad on the Comfortech stock. That adapter can be ground down to also work on the compact stock. ffgats
Nice to hear that I have an alternative, I'm still waiting for my M2 Compact so I can measure the stock dimension, maybe a precision fit Limbsaver will do?
