kimberacp
installed a new EBrown TSafety and when I flip it upward to safe the safety rotates outward, just slightly. Enough to notice a gap between the safety surface and frame. Now when the plunder insides are removed, it does not rotate outwards. How would remedy this? Is it caused by the dipole on the safety? Do I re-contour the shaped towards the frame? thanks
mike cyrwus
dont change the basic side view of the curve of the as it is now, unless you are familiar with doing so (to make it easier or harder to engage) but you can contour the edge that the plunger rides on, so that it wants to snug the face inwards, towards the frame. -so tht it contacts more of the outside of the edge. also, DO check the plunger tube to see if its loose. thats a common symptom. ltdmstr
It's common on the EBs for the little detent to be in the wrong place. You can use a long drill bit through the plunger tube to adjust it to the right location. If you can't figure out what size, Brownells sells one.
