KustomHolsters
When shooting pro am and steel challenge do you have a specific load for it or do you just shoot your major loads that you shoot in USPSA? Thanks
Parallax3D
There's no power factor for either, so just shoot whatever makes your gun run and allows you to shoot the best.Personally, I use a 115gr plated bullet with about 5.2gr of 231/HP-38 for my steel loads. The gun runs fine, and I don't have to re-spring between that and my IPSC major loads.
Trent1k1
For Pro-Am, you still need to be able to knock steel down, which isn't required for Steel Challenge. I personally use my same USPSA load as I'm too lazy to try to work up a load and spring set that would have a similar 'feel' and slide speed as my major load (shoot 40) I shoot way more USPSA than Steel Challenger or ProAm, and personally would rather not screw with the feel and timing when switching between the two. What I probably need to do is get a 2011 in 9mm for those sports.
Parallax3D
For Pro-Am, you still need to be able to knock steel down, which isn't required for Steel Challenge. No OFFICAL power factor. If it doesn't go down, keep shooting until it does. (At least that's what their webpage says.) No idea what the steel is calibrated for.
