SSP or ESP

I wanted to make sure but if a metal trigger is installed on a M&P 9 L that makes it a ESP gun correct?

8.2.1.3.3 Magazine releases, slide stops, safety levers, de-cocking levers, hammers, and triggers, that are stock on one SSP legal firearm may be used on another SSP legal firearm from the same manufacturer provided they are drop in replacements. Parts in this list must come factory installed on standard production firearms. Special parts that are available installed only from a factory custom shop are not eligible in SSP.

Jackin is correct, it would put you in ESP. Definitely not worth doing if that is your only upgrade putting you in ESP. If you just went with a spring kit from APEX you could get a lighter trigger pull and still stay in SSP.

There's nothing stock about SSP. Trick your gun out and join the ESP crowd.

why do you need a metal trigger? lol. Yes it is externally visible, if your going to do that might as well deck the beast out.
