Trigger pull weight for open guns ?

My open guns are about 1 1/4 lb. I care more about how it breaks rather than the weight of the break. I like more of a rolling break versus a crisp break. In my opinion it helps with slapping the trigger.

I set up my steel guns a little lighter just because I can. If you are not shooting hot ammo you can get away with a lighter trigger.

I'm about to have an open gun built, any pros and cons for curved vs. straight trigger? And does one weight feel better on one versus the other? Also, anyone have any experience with a reverse curved trigger?

I've got an SVI medium-length flat trigger, and I like it. I think the advantage is that no matter where your finger touches the trigger, it's always the same feel. If you're shooting really fast, (think of something like CM 06-03 "Can You Count"), you're probably slapping the trigger, so having the trigger "feel" the same every time you touch it is probably an advantage.

Never seen a "reverse curve" trigger.
