This is my first chrono so I don't have any previous experience with others, but the app works awesome on my iphone and is great for review. zzt Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 I have one and like it better than my ProDigital chrono. However, it is more temperamental. It absolutely will not tolerate and sunlight directly falling on a port. The unit must be shaded, but open to the sky if you are not using IR. If you follow these rules it works very well. I have one with the IR screens. They are very useful, because they can be used when the chrono has no access to the sky or when the light is very dim. The can be battery or AC powered. If you buy one, definitely get the pro kit with the IR screens (and tripod). The little extra money is well worth it. BTW, they only have apps for IOS and Android, not Windows Phone.
