Gilstan Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 I've been shooting my CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow that was purchased from the Custom Shop a little over a year. While at an IDPA match this weekend the match director questioned me on the match hammer and said that it was not IDPA legal because it was not stock. He also questioned the rear sight and wanted to know if it was milled. To my knowledge the match hammer does come stock and the rear sight is not milled. Any input, I have a State match in 2 months. kfd147 Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Are you shooting SSP? Do you have a Target Shadow? That is the only one milled for a different sight. If it is the regular Shadow cut, you are good to go. As for the competition hammer that is available from the factory @ CZUB. It is a factory part. Just because the match director says its illegal, does not mean he is right. He must prove it is illegal by providing evidence.
