Way to mark cases while on press

Just don't use spray paint. Fella out here tried that and wondered why his previously reliable Open gun and load kept choking during the next match...

I use spray paint on all my rounds. It's not a problem if you clean your gun every time you shoot (which I do)

One: "paint" the exposed part of the case at any time in the shell plate—you just can't easily spin the case around.

Two: "paint" the case heads when you fill an ammo box

Three: pick up all the cases you can at the range and not worry about getting your specific cases back (my range will only let me pick up those cases that I've marked, but they don't hover over my shoulder while I pick up cases—if I'm the only one shooting, they have helped me retrieve my .32 S&W Long and 9x21 cases before).

The only cases I really worry about retrieving are my rifle cases, so I either don't eject them to the ground or use a case catcher on my AR. I see $60 brass catchers, but I can buy a LOT of cases for that much money.
