rgp0104
I run an sjc upright for the full sized cmore. I was getting a jam about every 2 mags (stovepipe caught between the mount and slide). One day i had my model 21 apart at the same time as the 34 that has the sjc mount and thought i might try the extractor out of the model 21 in the model 34. It worked havnt had a stovepipe jam ever since. No ejection port mods or anything just the different extractor.
JAF1680
The SJC is nice and adds some weight to the glock.
mont1120
Last summer I used a Neumount sight mount to add a red dot to my XDM. This unit mounts underneath the gun using the accessory rail as the mounting platform. The mount then wraps around the slide and sits just above the top of the slide. This way the red dot never moves with the slide recoil. No screws in the frame. I'm sure they make one for the Glock. .
tator2k
I know old post. I've ran a g17 open gun with the SJC mount for years w/o problems. Recently I added a Carver mount to my G34. It does seem weird that the optic is slightly offset to left of center line.
