I have a set of decot hy wide frames. only want to buy one set of lenses to try this out. what color would you recommend for all around use from decot? kmca Posted January 7, 2015 Share Posted January 7, 2015 I agree with the red, however, I'm not sure I would go with Decot lenses. I've used Decot for 30 years shooting trap. They're probably the best, clearest lenses on the market. Last year, a friend of mine took a hit on his Decot's and the lens shattered...a lot of small SHARP pieces. He called the company ans was told that the lenses are only shatter resistant. I can understand the lens shattering from a ricochet, but it shouldn't break into sharp pieces. Since then, I haven't used mine for rifle/pistol shooting. Things might have changed since then, but I'm not taking the chance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
