akeefer
Hey all, I bought a like new Witness steel in 38 super. Got 400 extra rounds with it as well. Now I have my dies, ready to reload and I have a lot of 3N38 powder. So, this is the standard model, can I make any changes to this to get it up to basic competing level? I'm new to the Tanfoglio game, but have had STI, Glock & CZ. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Aaron
kneelingatlas
Aaron, Do you plan to use it for competition or just target practice? 3n38 is a really slow powder for use without a comp.
akeefer
I'd like to get into competition. Also, I don't have to use the 3n38.
Nealio
IMHO of you want to compete you should pick up a competition model. The money you would put into a standard model would better put towards a competition model, unless you want an open gun. Then you can build it out of whatever, but you are limited on holsters with the standard frame.
kneelingatlas
Your pistol is best suited for the Production division of USPSA or the IDPA equivalent (whatever that is ). Edited December 28, 2014 by kneelingatlas
