ams30gts
I'm pretty sure it is from a Dillon press, but can;t figure out what it is.
Hi-Power Jack
Looks a lot like the piece on my SDB that holds the powder tube on ... But, mine has only one screw in the center. This might be for a larger reloader (650 or 1050)?
RayBar
Belongs to a 1050. Located on the back/very bottom of the frame. It's generally just a stop.
jmorris
It is the frame stop. Not in the exploded view images in the 1050 manual but you can see it on page 8 at the bottom right of figure 13 and they mention it in the 5th paragraph of the same page. mellow13
Did you get a forcht 1050? I had the same question a few months ago. This part came back with the forcht conversion. I must have flipped through the manual a dozen times to find out if it's supposed to be on or off. I gave up and just left it off. The press has been working, so I guessed right? Jmorris, you have a forcht driven 1050, right? Does this piece stay off?
jmorris
Yes, that part is removed (a rotary never stops to change direction) and you actually have to mill the casting front and rear to clear the eccentric. Some of the Dillon castings are also different than others, not sure why the molds are so different but they are.
