  1. Is the knurled nut which sits on top of the primer magazine too tight? All the primer issues I've ever had on my 1050 has been worn primer magazine orifices or tight a knurled nut.
  2. I use these from Amazon Magnetic base, 110v w/7 in. Gooseneck.... https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-Mounting-Working-Gooseneck-Machine/dp/B008RA1XGK/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1472164532&sr=8-8&keywords=led+magnetic+light
  3. Replace the primer orofice on the end of the magazine tube. The knurled nut (which the primer alarm sits on) does not need to be tight.
  4. Try Teflon tape on the threads of the adjustment rod. Worked for me.
  5. Looks like the flash hole will be sealed as the bolt supports the case? Could be very dangerous if a primer ignites......
  6. I too have a bullet fed 1050. If you're only going to load 45 acp, I think you'd be fine with a bullet fed 650. With a case feeder, volume wouldn't be that far behind.
  7. Though I removed the ratchets & anything involved with it, a good wipe down & re-greasing the necessary parts - 30 minutes from 9 to large primer 45. This includes the changing the swage rod & separate toolheads for each caliber. Changing over the primer system really isn't that bad....
  8. I get smashed primers when my shell plate is too low -or- worn magazine orifice.....
  9. I'd have that problem when my shell plate is too tight. Winchester primers aren't the most consistent, either.
  10. Got the spring from an old leaking beat up pneumatic quick disconnect fitting...
  11. Can you mill a channel on the die body & sleeve below the tool head so the bullet could pass through?
  12. Personally, large batch runs of 9 or 40 cramps up my fingers in no time. Not so much a problem in 223 or 45. Bulletfeeder arrived yesterday, problem solved....
  13. I plumbed a drainage system in to a spent primer container Also plumbed a drain from station 3 in to a spent primer containter as I swage on loading
  14. I based mine to match Dillion's color which came out to 13:1. Also feels the same.
  15. I had this problem running my 1050 by hand. I raised the expander ball/decapper as high as I could in the die. Solved my problem. YMMV
  16. My goodness, that's like a Sooper Dooper 1050! Envious......
  17. I have a 1050. If I had to do it over again, I'd get both......
  18. Currently, it's more complicating to find powder locally than the alchol/lanolin locally.....
  19. Sarge: Idk what part of Ohio you're from but try calling one of these places. http://www.organicstorelocator.com/all-ohio.html
