bluker1
I'm wondering what USPSA matches and/or 3 gun is being shot on the weekend 12/20-21 other than the USPSA match at Dessert Sportsmens on 12/21. I'll be around starting Friday and I wanted to shoot some matches if possible. thanks, alan
ziebart
Iscopellc.com has a calendar, but there should be a 3 gun at pro gun club on Saturday.

ziebart
If you show up at 7:30 you will have plenty of time to try and walk the course and load mags. I think registration normally opens at 8. Also you may want to talk to Pete or Dotty, because they normally need people to pay for a silver state club membership in addition to the match fee. varminter22
Huh? One must pay dues/join the local club in order to shoot a USPSA match?
shotdown
Ziebart, I hope you're wrong. I haven't gone to the Monday night steel because of the extra fees either. Edited December 18, 2014 by shotdown
works for ammo
I paid $30 to be a member of silver state practical For the year. And then $30 a match too. I only shot out there Twice. I like the matches at DSRPC better anyhow. I know of a few people who have not shot at Pro Gun because of this. I think if you tell them you are not local they will Wave the membership fee. ziebart
I talked to Pete last night. He can put you on the club for an out of towner shooting one match. But the club exists, because he can't get insurance on the private land without having his own private club. He tried to have Pro Gun Club run the matches so it wouldn't be an issue, but they were not interested. I don't know all the details, but I know he said that he would rather not have the separate clubs.
