Neomet Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Okay, I knew this ages ago but forgot. I've got the RH side safety almost all the way in but not quite. Can't figure out the trick for the last bit. Tried holding the detent back on the LH side but nothing doing. Somebody point out the source of my folly if you would. Thanks! bigdave24 Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 Are you putting the RH safety in first? Make sure the RH detent isn't interfering. Then put the LH safety in ( you 'll need to pull the LH detent back to get it to fully seat). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BeerBaron Posted November 18, 2014 Share Posted November 18, 2014 I can't remember if is the same as the shadow safety but with the shadow the trick is rotating it to the right position to get it in. it needs to be flipped up quite a bit to clear the right side detent.
