Tyshoots
Thinking about putting a thumb rest on my open gun. For the people that have used both the *thumb rest [generic]* and rescomp is there a big difference in the angle that your thumb is at? I tried to do a search and it brings 0. Sarge
Not in my opinion. The big difference is real estate. The rescomp is tiny and works great. The goguns is much bigger pad and works well too. When I had my scope upright I liked the rescomp better because it just looked more streamlined. But when I went to a 90 degree mount there was nothing behind the thumbrest and my thumb was dragging on the slide so bad I had stoppages. Went back to the goguns with it's own built in backstop and all is well.

jcc7x7
I like the GoGas Much easier to get grip in same place each time
Tyshoots
Why is it easier? Is it because the go gun is wider, or the placement of the pad?
