dogtired
Instead of taking weights out of my 5oz rifle buffer can I just try the 3oz carbine buffer without hurting myself or more importantly hurting my new toy?
mulrick
Well if you are running a rifle length buffer tube, then no... thats the short answer. It comes down to length, a carbine buffer in a rifle tube will have too much travel, this can damage your BCG. You can put a stop in there to allow the use of a carbine buffer, but the easiest is to just take weights out or buy different buffers.
StealthyBlagga
You can put a stack of quarters in the buffer tube behind a CARBINE buffer spring and CARBINE buffer. However, I would just pull the weights out of the rifle buffer. Or buy a collapsing stock, which is way more TactiCool
dogtired
I can stick an adjustable on it but that requires extra work...
Therealkoop
Get a piece of delrin that takes up the extra space in the buffer tube or stack up some quarters as previously mentioned. I think you can actually purchase delrin spacers for that exact purpose pretty cheap.
