Steve RA
Shooting partner has a CM-9, easy to shoot and very accurate for the small size and weight.
pfcchambers
Not sure about the 40. But I have a CM9. After years of carrying a Star Firestar plus which is double stack, I really enjoy the smallness the cm9 offers. For a carry gun I don't have any complaints. Its been reliable for me with hollow points. And its more than accurate enough for a carry gun as well. Plus 299 is a great price. I paid $340 for mine. That was FFL price. triplesinglestack
I finally got a chance to shoot it this morning. I shot about 100 rounds of my re-loads through it, was a bit tight at first, having trouble returning into battery completely, after that I shot about 20 rounds of self defense type hollow points (180 pf stuff). I would compare the experience to my Glock 27, I wouldn't say it is much worse recoil wise. The front strap factory stippling/checkering does its job well, so far I am happy with this little gun, it carries in a pocket well.
DougCarden
For the recoil I would rather carry the 9mm with a good hollowpoint with two extra rounds.......Whatever floats your boat! DougC
