Even though the design is similar to the Full size and compact M&Ps, there is some extra plastic on the right side that prohibits you from reversing the mag release on the Shield. High Lord Gomer Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 Forgot to add....the spring rod is also offset to the left in the Shield unlike the FS and Compact where it is centered.
