a matt Posted November 24, 2014 Author Share Posted November 24, 2014 I made it tru the last 4lbs of n350. So I loaded what came out to 9.4 of 3n38 to try in the chrono. The 3n38 is much denser. I'm going to load 9.8 -10.-10.2 & 10.4. Try to find my major then I'll come back and try to find my guns happy place. Lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BeerBaron Posted November 24, 2014 Share Posted November 24, 2014 yep, I found 10.4gn of 3N38 was getting fairly close to a full 38 super case. I'd say with my 124gn RN CMJ's that it's a very slightly compressed load. still no bad pressure signs and if anything a nice full case helps prevent bullet setback! I'm running slightly longer OAL now, 1.255 up from 1.245. no massive difference noticeable. 3N38 is a nice powder. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
