thompsoncustom
I think mine is 3.2 so anything newer might be a little better. I'm working on load development for a 162gr lead bullet in 9mm. Looking for a 135 power factor but I would like to use the fastest powder I can without blowing up. Bullet length is .702 and OAL is 1.120 so for anyone that is bored I'd like to see what a newer version of QL comes up with. The version I'm using says nitro 100 would be prefect but that's the old formula, I think its time I update just so I have more powders.

lneel
I have version 3.8 and its says Nitro 100, Hodgdon Clays, or VV N310 are all about the same. Nowadays I guess it is more about what you can find rather than the best thing QL says. Lee
thompsoncustom
That's a good point but I do a lot of traveling for work so I'm sure it will turn up someday. My older version of quickload has n310 at quite a higher pressure than what nitro 100 would make the same PF
