BrocDowns Posted June 17, 2014 Share Posted June 17, 2014 Just got a +6 tube for my versa max and it came with the new HD spring, and it says to cut at a maximum of 12" past my extension so I did but I can barely get that 10th round in there so I was wondering is it safe to cut these down shorter than 12 inches? I tell people to cut them to 12", stuff it full, let it sit in the safe a few days, maybe even run a few tubes through it. Then cut it to 9 or 10 inches of free length.
