jimreed1948
I've seen several a CZ's, never shot one or even held one. Is there a certain model that is more popular in Production class?
Shadow
The Shadow is probably the most popular.
alma
Specifically the SP01 Shadow Custom. There are a few different versions of this but most notably is that ACCU Shadow which adds a bushing for accuracy and perhaps the "Target" model which has adjustable rear sights forward windage and elevation. basman
A worked up SP-01 would do as well
razorfish
The Shadow version of the CZ-75 is generally the most popular CZ in USPSA. The Shadow is available in several flavors. The Shadow versions lack a firing block which, in general, allows competitors to get a smoother/better trigger. The Shadow versions of the CZ-75 also have the beaver tail cut slightly higher so you can grip the gun a bit closer to the bore axis. Also note that the SP-01 version of the CZ-75's adds the tactical rail/full dust cover. The extra weight out front makes this version a popular choice. Shadows are generally available in standard and SP-01 versions. Here's some notes on the more popular versions of the CZ-75 Shadows (remember that these are generally available in SP-01 and standard versions) - The Shadow Target version notes that pistol has a fully adjustable rear site milled into the slide from the factory. - When you see "Custom" in the designation of any particular Shadow, it generally means that it has made a trip through the CZ Custom Shop. - The Accu-Shadow designation to the Shadow refers to a user removable bushing being milled into the slide. This allows for a tighter fit at the front of the barrel and therefore/theoretically more accuracy. Simple huh... Technically I'm shooting a CZ-75 Custom Accu-Shadow SP01, but when people ask I generally just say CZ. Edited June 9, 2014 by razorfish
