trp
N320 at 1.190 with sns type 180 bullet, what's your experience on the amount of powder 4.7 sound good out of a 6" barrel?
dsa
That should be good. I have an Infinity barrel in one of my 5" guns and it is a bit slow, 4.9 gr of N320 gets 173 pf. My other gun has a 5" Schueman barrel and it requires 4.6 gr for 170 pf.
2MoreChains
Somewhere between 4.5 and 4.7 gr of N320 ought to do it. I run a 6" Kart in my 2011 and 4.6 gr with a 185 gr moly bullet went 174.8 PF at Area 1 this year.
mjts
You may be able to use less powder depending on the barrel. The STI barrel in my 5" back up gun seems to be faster than the 5" Scheumann barrel in my Edge. I've run 200 gn. SNS coated bullets at approx. 1.185 over 3.9 grains of N320 out of a 6" Eagle with a stock STI barrel for 170 PF. Mike
