jstagn
Anyone tried Bayou 45acp 230 gr. with clays or e3? What were your impressions?........... Edited June 5, 2014 by jstagn
bowenbuilt
I have found that e3 and Clays are very similar in my .45 loads. Use the same data for both powders. Currently I am at 3.9 @ 1.240 OAL. I find both to be extremely soft, accurate and consistent. Edited June 5, 2014 by bowenbuilt
ZombieHunter
That's all I shoot at major matches with Clays. I use 4.0 gr. of Clays @ 1.250 OAL. I get less than 5 SD over the chrono and it's an extremely soft load and very accurate.
trp
When I was shooting 45 I used 3.6 gr clays at 1.185 Worked great made major
pskys2
3.8 Clays at 1.245 oal gave me 175pf and was a good clean load. Accuracy was what I expected from the gun 2-3"@25 yds. Haven't tried E3 with this combo, what I've tried it with seemed pretty good and if I could find some I'd be willing to experiment with it.
