Hi

i am looking to upgrade my gun for ipsc standard division from a glock 35 , to either a TS 40 sw or a limited custom HC sw

this is my fist cz , any guys can give some more info on the TS as here in malta only glock and 2011 mainly shoot ipsc standard dividion

between the two guns mentiond what are your thought , do the bull barrel on the limited custom have more advantage

the TS come with 3 mags and some spare parts , it is in mint condition ,

I have the Limited and the TS so I can tell you each has it's advantages and it's drawbacks.

TS Strengths:

-sub 2# trigger out of the box

-with CZC springs/followers/base pads mags hold 21 reloadable with no fuss

-solid, heavy tight gun

-fixed rear sight makes a great place to rack the slide

TS Weaknesses:

-cheesy waffle iron checkering on frame

-cycles best with SAAMI length rounds with jacketed/plated bullets (most lead bullets must be loaded really short and take some work to make reliable)

-cheesy plastic mag well

EAA Limited Strengths:

-aggressive checkering on front and rear strap

-adjustable rear sight (if you like them)

-dead sexy looks

-drilled and tapped for thumb rest/optics

-eats a variety of loads/bullets/lengths (can even use 10mm mags and load longer than 1.2")

EAA Limited Weaknesses:

-4#+ trigger out of the box

-20 rounds with Henning pads/springs/followers (21 if tuned)

-slightly less cheesy aluminum factory mag well (Henning's is much better)

I go back and forth on which I like better

My inclination is to say no. I have shot the cone barrel and straight barrel side by side in 9mm and could not tell the difference, I will shortly have a cone barrel in .40 so I'll be able to make that comparison too.

I'd like to do some blind comparisons with other shooters and see if they can tell the difference

If you add an EGW hammer and sear to the Tanfoglio, a sub 2# trigger with 1911 short reset is cake. The bonus is you get to argue the merits of the platform with the 2011 herd AND CZ aficionados! Great fun.
